In 2021, Interphotocamp will be held on the island of Procida, Italy. Our main location will be the abandoned prison Palazzo d’Avalos built in 1500 together with the walls of the d’Avalos family (the island governors up until 1700). In 1830, the building was converted into a prison that was closed in 1988. Аpart from its artistic and historical interest, Palazzo d’Avalos is especially important for its particular characteristics that assert its role in Renaissance architecture. Now it is impossible for ordinary tourists to get there, but we have agreed with the administration of the island, so that all locations will be open for the festival. Palazzo d’Avalos is located at the top of Procida’s highest hill, Terra Murata, and offers one stunning views of the fishing village Corricella at sunset, the most beautiful spot on the island. There we will have the opportunity to make beautiful city landscapes. Due to the difficult situation related to COVID-19, we cannot predict the exact number of participants, so it is difficult to inform you about the number of invited models, but there will be at least one model for every 5 participants. The participation price includes accommodation in double rooms (at a 3 star-hotel) and meals starting from the dinner on Friday, March 12, to lunch, March 14. You will have to get to Procida yourself. Ferries leave Naples every hour, the travel time is from 30 minutes up to an hour.
